Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC)

• aims to improve working conditions and to empower workers in the global garment and sportswear industry
• active in 10 European countries, organised through autonomous national coalitions with a total membership of around 300 NGOs and trade unions
• international partner network consists of NGOs and trade unions in the majority of countries producing for the European market
• four broad categories of activity to reach its goal:
  • awareness raising and mobilising consumers
  • pressuring companies to take responsibility
  • solidarity actions
  • lobbying and legal action.
